Solar ElectriCity Guide
Municipalities play a key role in using and promoting solar power. There is a wide range of actions and tools to support the deployment of solar photovoltaics on the local level. For instance, municipalities can purchase solar power products or install their own solar photovoltaic system. What's more, municipalities can shape a favorable framework and useful conditions that enable and facilitate the implementation of photovoltaics.
The publication "Solar ElectriCity Guide" (available in German "Solarstrom in der Gemeinde" and in French "Guide ElectriCité Solaire") shows ways of how a municipality can concretely act with(in) its competences. It provides insight into the diversity of how stakeholders coming from the business area and population can be active / commit themselves in favour of photovoltaic power. "Solar ElectriCity Guide" is a unique publication presenting for the first time such a comprehensive collection of examples, experiences and measures taken in the Swiss solar landscape. The main publication is supplemented by seven thematic documents providing further information and illustrations specified for different target areas and audiences (in German only)
