aaa Tasks in the Photovoltaics Environment:

The SECO promotes economic cooperation with developing and transition countries (ET) and has contact points within photovoltaics; especially in the department of "Trade and Environmental Technology Cooperation" (HUET). The use of renewable energy in the international cooperation is coordinated together with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), and the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN). The coordination occurs through the platform REPIC.

  Short Description:
SECO is a part of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs (DEA). Here, cantons, enterprises, economic organizations, and social partners find a competent and efficient contact. The Swiss economic scene can only survive if Switzerland continues to assertively and successfully offer innovative and competitive workplaces in the future. This was the deciding factor in the creation of the new competence centre. Switzerland must take into account the ever-changing requirements of its business and management partners throughout the world.
Specialists are not only active in different areas of performance and cross-section areas, but are also active in Swiss delegations within international economic organizations. This is also true for the Office of Integration, which is part of seco and part of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), as well.
