The Swiss Organization for Solar Energy (SSES) promotes solar energy in the broadest sense. It is the largest national solar energy promotion organization in the world with approximately 7500 members. Its activities include information, exchange, conferences, tours as well as issuing statements concerning energy-political subjects. The SSES is comprised of 13 regional groups. It is a member of the Swiss Professional Association for Solar Energy SWISSOLAR.
